URB is a monthly magazine focusing on electronic music, hip-hop culture and urban lifestyle, first published in November 1990 and based in Los Angeles, California. 2009 the paper edition was discontinued and an electronic version of the online magazine was launched, after which the paper edition was resumed. In 2007, the magazine's theme was "The Next 100 Musicians," and then expanded tenfold to include "The Next 1000 Musicians" on its website, featuring 20 artists each week.
