University of Lisbon

The University of Lisbon (Universidade de Lisboa) is one of the larger and most widely attended comprehensive universities in Portugal. There are eight departments: Arts, Law, Medicine, Pharmacology, Natural Sciences, Education and Psychology, Fine Arts, and Dental Medicine. In addition, there are four graduate schools of ophthalmology, bacteriology, and medicine, as well as the Prince Don Luis Institute of Geophysics and the Institute of Social Sciences.
