The University of Porto (Universidade do Porto) is located in the city of Porto, the industrial center of northern Portugal, and is one of Portugal's leading universities, formed by the merger of four specialized schools, including the Porto Maritime and Commercial School. The University of Porto has more than ten faculties, including architecture, sports, law, economics, engineering, food and nutrition, medicine, dentistry, education and psychology, and biomedicine.
