The Polish Museum of Modern Art ( Krakow's Museum of Contemporary Art was completed in October 2010 on the site of the Schindler factory in Krakow, Poland; through the renovation of the original six buildings, the total usable exhibition space reached 10,000 square meters.

Krakow was the site of the Kremlin during the Second World War and of the Jewish concentration camp in 1993. Krakow is known to many people around the world who love peace and care about serious art because of the Jewish concentration camps during World War II and the 1993 film Schindler's List. The museum's inaugural exhibition was presented in late 2010 by the museum's designers, Italian architects Claudio Nardi and Leonardo Maria Proli. Proli presented "Architecture for Sensitive Lives" at the end of 2010, a documentary on the region's ongoing architectural projects in the midst of a renaissance.

The official exhibition project will be launched in mid-May 2011, entitled History in Art, which will feature works by 44 international artists, 20 of which will be Twenty of these works will be included in the museum's permanent collection. Museum director Anna Maria Potocka also said that she will promote the museum's permanent collection and development through a private collection of contemporary Polish art in the future.
