The National Bank of Hungary (Hungarian: Magyar Nemzeti Bank) is the central bank of Hungary. The National Bank of Hungary is responsible for issuing the Hungarian national currency, the forint, regulating the circulation of cash and setting the central bank's basic interest rate.
