The first sport sandals appeared on the Grand Canyon Coast back in 1984. A resourceful river guide tied two Velcro straps to a pair of old flip-flops to keep the sandals from drifting downstream. And so the Teva was born. In the years that followed, Teva maintained the same pioneering spirit and continued to explore freedom.
