The Voice of America (English: Voice of America; VOA) is the national propaganda agency of the United States, which owns radio and television stations and ranks second among the five largest broadcasters in the world (the other four are,,,). Voice of America was formed in February 1942 by the Wartime Intelligence Agency and is headquartered in Washington, D.C. It mainly provides news and current events, English language instruction, feature columns, popular music and other content.
