The Philadelphia 76ers ( The Philadelphia 76ers are a team in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference, founded in 1939 and moved to Philadelphia in 1963, renamed the Philadelphia 76ers, usually abbreviated as 76ers, home to the Wachovia Center Arena. The team has won three championships and six league championships in its history.
