Atlanta Braves The Atlanta Braves are a team in the National League East (1969-1993 National League West), founded in 1871 and moved to Atlanta in 1966, and are the only two remaining founding teams in the National League. The Atlanta Braves were the division champions for 14 consecutive years from 1991-2005, ranking first in all North American professional sports. The team won the World Series in Boston in 1914, Milwaukee in 1957, and Atlanta in 1995, the only MLB team to have won the World Series in three different cities. The team has won 17 National League championships, 12 National League East titles and five National League West titles.
