The Los Angeles Dodgers are a National League West team founded in 1883 in Brooklyn, originally known as the Brooklyn Dodgers, moved to Los Angeles in 1958 and are arch rivals with the San Francisco Giants. The team won six World Series championships and 21 National League championships.
