brief introduction

Corsair is a computer hardware company based in Fremont, Calif. Corsair is a computer hardware company located in Fremont, California, founded by Don Lieberman, John Beekley and Andy Paul in 1994, dedicated to computer memory, power supplies, keyboards and other high-performance computer I supporting equipment, with the launch of the mechanical keyboard, the Corsair brand more enthusiasts favor.

Corsair History: Initially the company produced Cache-On for Intel systems. The company initially produced Cache-On-A-Stick (COAST) modules for Intel systems. However, Intel moved the cache from the motherboard to the processor crystals, and Corsair changed their focus to computer memory. In the late 1990s Corsair once again switched from focusing on producing standard memory to producing above-spec memory, commonly known as overclocking memory. The XMS production line is called "Performance" or "Overclocking" and the Value Select production line is designed for mainstream users.

Corsair also produces the Flash Voyager, an uneven USB finger drive loaded with water-resistant rubber and has gathered a large following for its near-perishability. Like the Value Select product line, Corsair offers the same low-cost USB flash drive, but in a standard plastic package that is not as dense as the Flash Voyager.

Corsair also produces a number of water cooling tools. Starting with the Hydrocool, an external solution with an LED display for current temperature and a carrying handle, they later turned into the Corsair Cool internal tool based on the tight Swiftech design. The Nautilus 500 is a significant departure from other water cooling tools because it is designed for an affordable retail price without sacrificing performance or ease of installation. There are TX and HX product lines, both of which are OEM labeled products.
