Audrey Hepburn was born in Belgium on May 4, 1929, and died of appendix cancer on January 20, 1993 . His representative works include "Roman Holiday", "The Mermaid", "The Dragon and the Phoenix", "Breakfast at Tiffany's", "My Fair Lady" and so on. Her major achievements include: winning the Best Actress Award in 1954 for "Roman Holiday" and the Tony Award for Best Actress in the stage play "The Mermaid"; being nominated again for the Academy Award for Best Actress in 1955 for "The Girl with the Dragon"; in her later years, she devoted herself to charity work and became a representative of UNICEF's Goodwill Ambassadors, fighting for the rights of women and children in the Third World; and being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1992. In 1992, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom; in 1993, she won the Academy Award for Humanitarianism; in 1999, she was ranked third by the American Film Institute as the "Greatest Actress of the Century".
