Utah State University (Utah State University, or USU for short, was founded in 1888 in Logan, Utah, 80 miles from Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah. From its beginnings as a small agricultural college, USU has grown to become a leading university in the United States and internationally by virtue of its achievements in engineering. Utah State University is among the top 100 universities in the United States before engineering. Currently, under the leadership of President Stan Albrecht, the University has 850 faculty members and 23,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Five types of degrees are offered: undergraduate, master's, doctoral, associate, and diploma programs (Certificate).
