The University of Arkansas ( University of Arkansas (UARK) is an American public university founded in 1871 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and is the flagship school of the University of Arkansas System. In the 2016 U.S. News rankings of comprehensive universities in the United States, the University of Arkansas ranked 129th.
