Engadget is a popular technology blog and podcast about consumer electronics. The blog has won several awards. Engadget currently has seven different websites, all of which operate simultaneously with their own staff and cover technology news in their own languages from different parts of the world. The U.S. Engadget site issued its 20,000th news story on August 25, 2006.

Engadget was founded by former Gizmodo technology blog editor Peter Rojas. Engadget is a member of Weblogs, Inc. a network of more than 75 blogs, including Autoblog and Joystiq, and before that Hack-A-Day. Weblogs Inc. was acquired by AOL in 2005, and Engadget's editor-in-chief is Ryan Block;
