Citibank, N.A. is a subsidiary of Citigroup, which traces its roots to the City Bank of New York, founded in 1812 and headquartered in New York. Citibank is the third largest bank in the United States in terms of asset size, after the City Bank of New York. The name Citibank was called out by the people of Shanghai, and later became the official Chinese name of Citibank.
