Warner Bros Pictures was formally founded by four Jewish brothers in New York on April 4, 1923; it was acquired in 1990; and is now the most well-financed studio in all of Hollywood's eight major studios. Warner Bros. has many of the "most profitable" films and film series, including the Harry Potter series, the Batman series, and Inception, among others.
