The City University of New York (CUNY) is the umbrella name for the public university system in New York City. It is one of the largest public university systems in the United States, containing 11 four-year colleges (such as New York City College, Queens College, Baruch College, Hunter College, etc.), six two-year community colleges Community College, as well as the College of Physician Education, the School of Law, the School of Journalism, and the Graduate Center.
