The United States Military Academy at West Point (West Point) is a U.S. Army officer training institution founded in 1802 as the first military school in the United States. Graduates of West Point will receive a Bachelor of Science degree and the rank of second lieutenant, and must serve in the military for at least five years after graduation. West Point alumni include Eisenhower, MacArthur, Patton, and others.
