The International Herald Tribune is an English-language international newspaper published in Paris, France, based in Paris and wholly owned by its predecessor, the European edition of the New York Herald, published on October 4, 1887 by the American J.G. Bennett. In 1935, it was renamed the New York Herald Tribune; it changed its name to the present one on May 22, 1967.
