France Télévisions 2 was the first of the Radio France Television It started broadcasting on December 21, 1963. It was then known as RTF France 2. Initially a black and white channel, it switched to color on October 1, 1967 at 14:15, the first color channel in France. Since April 7, 2008, RTF France 2 has been broadcasting in 16 to 9 broadband. The analogue and digital channels were introduced simultaneously. In the same year, the HD version was also launched.
