Football Club de Metz is a French professional soccer club founded in 1932 in Metz, in the Moselle region of Lorraine, with its home stadium at St. Simphorien. Metz was promoted to the French top flight in 1965 and has rarely been relegated, winning the Ligue 2 title in the 2013-14 season and being promoted to the 2014-15 season.
