The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), founded in 1904 and headquartered in Paris, France, is a non-profit organization that governs all four-wheeled motor sports and sets the rules of competition. The FIA has members in more than 135 countries worldwide and organizes major motorsport events such as the Formula 1 World Championship, the World Rally Championship (WRC) and the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC).
