brief introduction

The Louvre is one of the world's oldest and grandest museums, along with the British Museum in England and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the United States, known as the world's three largest museums. At the same time, it is also the oldest royal palace in the United Kingdom. Located in the center of Paris, France, on the north bank of the Seine River, the Louvre was built in 1204 and has been expanded and redeveloped over the past 800 years to reach its present size - covering an area of about 45 hectares, with a building area of 4.8 hectares and a total length of 680 meters. The building has six galleries - the Greek Roman Art Gallery, the Egyptian Art Gallery, the Oriental Art Gallery, the Painting Gallery, the Sculpture Gallery and the Decorative Arts Gallery. Among them, the famous "Venus," "Nica," and "Mona Lisa" are the three treasures of the Louvre.
