Université d´Artois (Arras), founded in 1990, is a multidisciplinary university with a beautiful environment and a pleasant climate, located in northern France, north of the Strait of Calais. The University of Artois has 22 research centers on its campuses, of which 3 are official partners of the CNRS and 13 are collaborative host research groups. In 1994, the University of Artois decided to create its own publishing house, the University of Artois Press, in order to develop its research and promote its results; it now has six book series.
