The German Astronomical Society (Astronomische Gesellschaft) is a German astronomical research society founded in 1863 and is the second oldest existing astronomical society after the German Astronomical Society. An important achievement of the German Astronomical Society is the compilation of the German Astronomical Society Catalog (AGK Catalog).
