Bank of Beijing, the original "Beijing Commercial Bank", was established in 1996 as a new joint-stock commercial bank. It has 136 branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Xi'an, Changsha, Nanjing, Jinan and Nanchang in China. Bank of Beijing is currently the largest city commercial bank in China and the third largest bank in Beijing, employing more than 3,600 staff and serving both personal and corporate customers through its 116 branches. Bank of Beijing has also set up 272 ATMs at its network locations and has established a fast-growing e-banking business.
