Israel Education TV (Hebrew: הטלוויזיה החינוכית הישראלית) is Israel's premier educational media, providing television programming primarily for young children. In the 1870s and 1880s, the station's Channel 1 aired Israel's first children's program; in the late 1880s, the station began to launch corresponding television programs for adults and the elderly.
