Yellow Pencil Award (Yellow Pencils), also known as the D& AD Awards, the full name of the Creative Advertising & Design Awards, since its inception in 1962, the awards are committed to setting industry standards, training and inspiring new talent, connecting the various design fields, known as the It has been called "the most collegial global award".

Yellow Pencil Award Levels:

1. Yearbook Award (In- Book)-The Best of the Year

In the first round of judging, judges will vote for works to be included in the prestigious D&AD Yearbook, leaving a historical record of outstanding creations each year. To be selected, at least 50% of the judges must vote in favor of the entry.

2. Nominated Works - Waiting List

In the second round of judging, the jury will propose works that are above the standard of the Yearbook Award. Works nominated at this stage are those that meet the criteria and have the potential to win the Pencil Award. At least 50% of the judges must vote in favor of the nomination in order for an entry to advance to the nomination stage.

3. Yellow Pencil Award - Outstanding Creativity

In the final round of judging, the judges will select the outstanding entries from among all nominated entries. The Yellow Pencil Award will be presented to a unique and outstanding idea in a variety of disciplines within the creative industry. A minimum of 50% of the judges must vote in favor of each nominated work in order for it to be eligible for the Yellow Pencil Award.

4. Black Pencil Award - Breakthrough Big Ideas

Only entries that have won the Yellow Pencil Award will be eligible for the Black Pencil Award. This phase of the competition will be judged by three Black Pencil Award judges, including the Jury President and one member of each original jury. The Black Pencil Award is extremely rare, and only truly unprecedented and groundbreaking works are eligible for the award, so there are sometimes shortages in this category. A minimum of 50% of the judges must vote in favor of the Black Pencil Award in order for an entry to be eligible for the award.
