brief introduction

Clowdy:Creative Works Cloud Showcase This website and its iOS and Android applications allow creative industry practitioners to showcase their work, tag each other's contributions, and build a network of people to lay the foundation for future collaboration.

The idea behind Clowdy is that LinkedIn's work history format (which I think is primarily designed to sell user data to employers and others who are committed to networking) is not well suited to creative people like independent music producers and directors, because this group needs to show that you have done a better job than your employer. In the creative industry, your work history is the "currency" you can use to trade.

Clowdy addresses two problems First, creatives don't have their own résumés, as most do, because their resumes involve content and artwork, not simply work experience. The second problem is that although many people often work together on a project, they rarely know each other. Often, only the musician or director gets the ultimate credit, while the actors, singers, editors, agents, producers and others in the industry who work behind the scenes at the event are silent contributors.

To solve the first problem, Clowdy solves it by creating a simple user homepage where they can upload and showcase their creative content, a model more akin to the music sharing service SoundCloud, which we can also call the Vime of video sharing services, We can also call it the Vime of video sharing services or the Flickr of photo sharing, but there is no big difference between the different media and format types. So far, 70,000 users have uploaded a total of 60,000 pieces of content to Clowdy, up from 18,000 last November.

But it's Clowdy's honorable mention feature that solves a bigger problem than just integrating various media types and creative subsectors. Users can tag artwork uploaded and displayed on Clowdy to give credit to different contributors, kind of like how you tag people in photos on Facebook. Have you ever played bass guitar on a film or post-processed a master for a new album?

This also gives us a glimpse into the future direction of Clowdy and how it will eventually fill the "void" left by LinkedIn. In addition to indirectly creating a database of independent music and video ratings, a service similar to Amazon's IMDB, Clowdy also allows users to connect with and send information to other creative people who have signed up for the service.

Clowdy is currently on a freemium model. Clowdy's main service is free, but it also offers paid subscriptions and more features, such as the ability for users to promote their work on Clowdy, get more in-depth statistics, and launch larger promotions on Clowdy.
