The Society of British and International Design (SBID) The Society of British and International Design (SBID) is the only organization in the United Kingdom dedicated to the interior industry, and its members are all systematically trained practitioners. The Society supports the work of 50,000 registered interior designers across the country and the world.

The British Interior Design Association is a professional association representing the United Kingdom, selected by the 16 member countries of the European Council of Interior Architects, and also represents the professional standards of the Interior Designers Qualifications Board of the United States and Canada. It is also the professional association that represents the professional accreditation standards of the Interior Designers Board of the United States and Canada.

The British Society of Interior Design is also the founder of the SBID International Design Awards, which was created in 2011; the purpose of the competition is to exchange and increase the skills of professional interior designers in order to discover their creative potential. SBID invites interior designers, architects and builders from around the world to promote their successful product plans.
