University of Strathclyde (University of Strathclyde) is a Scottish university, founded in 1796, is the second university in Glasgow, in 1964 to accept the Royal Charter as the first British University of Technology. The University of Strathclyde has departments of engineering, science, humanities and social sciences, as well as the Strathclyde Business School. In the 2014 UK University Rankings, the University of Strathclyde was ranked 42nd.
