Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL) is a member of the Royal College of London. It was formed by the merger of Bedford College, founded in 1849, and Royal Holloway College, founded in 1879, in 1985. In the 2014 UK university rankings, Royal Halloway College was ranked 28th.
