The University of Bedfordshire is a public university in Luton and Bedford, England, with a history dating back to the founding of Teacher Training College in 1882, which was founded in 2006 by the University of Luton and the University of Bedfordshire. It was formed in 2006 by the merger of Luton University and De Montfort University's Bedford campus.
