brief introduction

The Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini di Firenze, a world-renowned conservatory of music, originated in 1849 and was originally part of the Conservatorio di Firenze; it became independent in 1860 and was named the "Conservatorio di Firenze"; in 1910, it became the "Conservatorio di Firenze". In 1910, it became the only conservatory in the Tuscany region. The Conservatory offers three-year undergraduate, traditional music education (equivalent to a graduate degree in China) and two-year postgraduate majors and programs, and its scholarship office has signed bilateral agreements with universities and conservatories throughout Europe, allowing students and faculty to exchange and participate in scholarship programs.
