The Università degli studi di Napoli Federico II (University of Naples) is a historic Italian institution of higher learning founded in 1224 by the ancient Roman emperors and FEDERICO II, King of Naples and Sicily. On September 7, 1978, the university officially changed its name to its current name, and has 13 faculties, including the Faculty of Agriculture, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the Faculty of Architecture, which are accredited by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
