Chievo Verona Football Club (Associazione Calcio ChievoVerona), abbreviated as Chievo Football Club, is commonly referred to as "Verona" by its city rivals. The team was founded in 1929 and has its home stadium in Bentegodi. The team first entered in 2001, was relegated in 2007, and returned to Serie A in 2008.
