Oakland Middlemore Hospital is the largest public hospital in South Oakland, located in the Middlemore district of South Manukau, established in 1947 to provide medical services to the residents of the area. The hospital offers general surgery, surgery, plastic surgery, oral, burns, dentistry, neurology, internal medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, children's hospital, neonatal intensive care and other departments.
