The Official New Zealand Music Chart is a weekly updated top 40 list of the hottest singles and albums in New Zealand, all based on digital music and physical music sales data from New Zealand's major sellers. In order to qualify for the "New Zealand Music Chart" title, music must be performed or released by a New Zealand citizen or a permanent resident in New Zealand.
