The World Toilet Organization (WTO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the world's toilet culture and public health issues, and was founded by the Republic of Singapore Toilet Association, Japan Toilet Association, Republic of Korea Clean Toilet Association, and Taiwan Toilet Association of China in 2001. The organization was founded in 2001 by the Republic of Singapore Toilet Association, Japan Toilet Association, Republic of Korea Clean Toilet Association and Taiwan Toilet Association of China. At present, the organization has 47 international members from 17 countries and regions, and regularly holds the annual World Toilet Summit (World Toilet Summit).
