CapitaLand (Capitaland;:C31) is one of Asia's largest real estate groups, listed in Singapore and a constituent stock of the Singapore Straits Times Index, and was formed in November 2000 by Pidemco Land (formerly a subsidiary of the Suncorp Group) and Development Land (formerly a subsidiary of the DBS Group). It was formed in November 2000 through the merger of Pidemco Land (formerly a subsidiary of the Suncorp Group) and DBS Land (formerly a subsidiary of the DBS Group). Its business is mainly focused on Singapore and China.
