Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) is one of the second largest general hospitals in Singapore, established in 1844 and named after the philanthropist who founded the hospital, Mr. Tan Tock Seng. The hospital is equipped with 1200 beds and state-of-the-art medical facilities, and the auxiliary departments are clearly marked and well organized. The hospital also has a supermarket, a hair salon and a catering department to meet the daily needs of patients.
