Established in 1990, Temasek Polytechnic is one of the most widely recognized comprehensive institutes in Singapore, directly under the Ministry of Education. Temasek Polytechnic is renowned for its seriousness, diligence and dynamism in the Southeast Asian region. It has five faculties, including the Faculty of Commerce, the Faculty of Design, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Information Technology and the Faculty of Applied Science, which offer 33 diploma programs with a three-year academic structure. Temasek Polytechnic is a comprehensive polytechnic run by the Singapore government, with a campus area of 300,000 square meters, a 10-story library, speech rooms, performance halls, tennis courts, soccer fields, ballrooms and swimming pools and gymnasiums, among other facilities, and a number of restaurants that offer a variety of delicious food to students from different countries.
