Hellenic Post is the state-owned postal company of Greece, headquartered in the capital city of Athens, with a history dating back to the former government post office established in 1828, which became a state-owned company in 1996. It provides a wide range of universal postal services, including letters, parcels, savings accounts, Swiftpost (national next-day delivery service) and EMS International Express. Greece Post is also a member of the Universal Postal Union.
