The Spanish Foreign Legion (Tercio de Extranjeros) is a world-renowned mercenary organization founded in 1920 and now renamed the Spanish Legion (La Legión). The Extranjeros had helped Franco's dictatorship and was therefore hated by the Spanish public, but now young Spaniards are becoming proud to join the Legion.
