Turkish Strait University official website. Turkish Strait University is a public university located on the European side of the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul, Turkey. It has four faculties and two undergraduate departments, and six graduate degree institutions. The Straits University is one of the top universities in Turkey and is the only Turkish university to be ranked in the top 200 in the 2013-2014 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
