The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE; abbreviated as UNECE or ECE) is a branch of the United Nations, established in 1947, under the United Nations Economic and Social Council, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Geneva, its members in addition to European countries, including the United States, Canada and other countries, the main responsibility is to promote economic cooperation among member countries.
