The World Health Organization (WHO) is the world's largest public health organization, established in 1948 as an affiliated organization, with its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. WHO has six regions worldwide: Africa, Europe, Southeast Asia, Eastern Mediterranean, Western Pacific, and the Americas, with a total of 194 member countries (as of March 2014).
