The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a non-governmental organization that produces international standards for the world's industry and commerce, and is the international standard-setting body representing national standards bodies. Founded in 1947, ISO is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and has more than 160 member countries.
