WeForum:World Economic Forum The World Economic Forum is an unofficial international organization whose purpose is to study and research problems in the world economy and to promote international economic cooperation and exchange.

WeForum: The World Economic Forum Organization The predecessor of WeForum is the European Management Forum, which was created in 1971; in 1987, the European Management Forum changed its name to the World Economic Forum. Forum because the annual meeting is held in Davos, it is also known as the "Davos Forum".

Every year, the World Economic Forum annual meeting is attended by more than a thousand political, business and press leaders from dozens of countries.
